Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company in the healthcare industry is looking for an Intake Specialist.

Position Responsibilities

• Accurately enter patient information into the appropriate system based on the type of referral obtained
• Review medical records to ensure compliance standards are met prior to a service being rendered
• Communicate with referral sources to obtain compliant documentation in a timely manner to facilitate the referral process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One (1) year work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry is required
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV or HH environment that routinely bills insurance
