Job Summary

Integrated Absence Claims Specialist, a full-time remote position, is responsible for managing Short-Term Disability claims, conducting interviews with claimants, and making timely claim determinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather information regarding claims
  • Collaborate with case managers and consulting physicians to determine claims outcomes
  • Review medical records and perform financial calculations in accordance with guidelines
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in claims, leaves, or customer service
  • Experience with disability and/or absence management claims
  • Strong mathematical skills for payment calculations
