Job Summary
Integrated Absence Claims Specialist, a full-time remote position, is responsible for managing Short-Term Disability claims, conducting interviews with claimants, and making timely claim determinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather information regarding claims
- Collaborate with case managers and consulting physicians to determine claims outcomes
- Review medical records and perform financial calculations in accordance with guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in claims, leaves, or customer service
- Experience with disability and/or absence management claims
- Strong mathematical skills for payment calculations
