Job Summary

To support a growing claims organization, the full-time remote Integrated Absence Claims Specialist will manage Short-Term Disability claims, conduct interviews with claimants, review medical records, and make timely claim determinations.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather information regarding claims and leaves
  • Collaborating with case managers and physicians to ensure appropriate and timely claim decisions
  • Reviewing complex medical records and performing accurate financial calculations in line with guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in claims, leaves, or customer service
  • Experience with disability and/or absence management claims
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
