Job Summary
To support the Ministry of Health of Guyana's One Health Project, the full-time Integrated Health Surveillance Consultant will facilitate the implementation of integrated surveillance efforts, including the development of operational plans and capacity-building initiatives, while working remotely with occasional travel to Guyana.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and periodic updating of the integrated surveillance operational plan, including timelines and milestones
- Coordinate integrated surveillance activities with national authorities and relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives related to surveillance activities under the One Health Project
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in public health, data sciences, statistics, or a related field from a recognized university
- At least 7 years of experience in disease surveillance, including field epidemiology, with a minimum of 1 year in an international setting
- Fluency in English
- Strong knowledge of health information management systems and integrated surveillance frameworks
- Experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders, including government and international organizations
