Integration and Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and delivering resilient integrations and automation services for a federal customer, the full-time remote Integration and Automation Engineer will create secure API and file-transfer patterns, build Azure Functions and Logic Apps, and collaborate with application teams to enhance system security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design secure API, file-transfer, event, and batch-integration patterns for modern applications and enterprise systems
- Build and support Azure Functions, Logic Apps, custom connectors, and error-handling workflows
- Collaborate with application teams to replace legacy components with secure, maintainable services
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of application integration, automation, or backend engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, and secure authentication patterns
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of data security and integration architecture
- Experience with message handling, error recovery, and production troubleshooting
