Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the fully remote Integration Engineer will coordinate with development and user teams, manage technical aspects of federal projects, and advise on integrating utility and IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating with teams to assess risks, set goals, and ensure requirements are met throughout design and construction
• Identifying and introducing new infrastructure while managing technical aspects of large federal projects
• Collaborating with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with Veteran healthcare needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Architecture, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and construction project/program management
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills for evaluating operational effectiveness
• Background in clinical informatics and SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices
• Ability to manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations for process improvements
