Integration Engineer III

Job Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting HL7 and FHIR integrations in a remote full-time position, the Integration Engineer III will manage message transformations, routing workflows, and provide production support within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the build, implementation, and technical support of system integration technologies, including IHCC, Epic Bridges, HL7, and FHIR
• Provide post-implementation and production support for integration technologies, including on-call responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert on system integration and maintain working documentation and data flows

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or a related business, preferably in a healthcare provider environment
• Epic Bridges certification
• Proficient knowledge of HL7 standards and integration architecture
• Experience with Intersystems HealthConnect Cloud (IHCC) and knowledge of FHIR
