Integration Solution Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the remote Integration Solution Architect will design and implement event-driven architectures using Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink while occasionally traveling to the customer's headquarters in New York for workshops and review meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end CDC Enterprise Bus Middleware APIM integration patterns
• Develop and manage Kafka producer/consumer configurations and implement CDC connectors for ERP source systems
• Implement SMT and KSQLDB-based transformation rules on Kafka topics and assist in Flink/Kafka Streams job development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink
• Experience in designing Kafka-based event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with implementing CDC connectors such as Debezium/SAP
• Knowledge of API contracts and APIM POST methods for data ingestion
