Integration Specialist
Job Summary
To support the integration of healthcare applications and systems, the full-time remote Integration Specialist will design, develop, and optimize interfaces using HL7 and FHIR standards while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy HL7 and FHIR-based interfaces between clinical and operational systems
- Monitor and maintain interface engines, troubleshooting data flow issues and interface failures
- Collaborate with application owners and vendors to gather requirements and implement integration solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with HL7 interface development and support
- Hands-on experience with FHIR APIs and RESTful services
- Strong understanding of healthcare data formats and familiarity with interface engines
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices
