Intellectual Property Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel - Intellectual Property, Patents and Commercial Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to protect and manage intellectual property assets
• Manage the intellectual property portfolio, including patent, copyright, and trademark filings and enforcement
• Provide legal counsel for strategic transactions and advise on technology agreements and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of at least one state bar and preferably registered with the USPTO
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an intellectual property attorney
• Extensive knowledge of intellectual property law, particularly in software and technology
• Experience advising software companies and familiarity with software development practices
