Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intellectual Property Paralegal.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the internal patent docketing system, ensuring accurate lifecycle management of patent assets
• Establish communication procedures with outside patent law firms and serve as the primary point of contact for record keeping
• Track critical deadlines and generate reports regarding portfolio status and metrics for internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Paralegal, particularly in utility and design patent prosecution
• Understanding of USPTO patent practice
• Hands-on experience with an IP docketing or portfolio management system
• Experience coordinating with outside counsel and cross-functional internal stakeholders
