Intellectual Property Paralegal

Job Summary

Focusing on the protection of intellectual property, the full-time Virtual Intellectual Property Paralegal will investigate, document, and help prevent misuse of PMI's IP while supporting trademark and copyright prosecution and enforcement actions.

Key responsibilities

• Detect, investigate, and document potential intellectual property infringement
• Assist with trademark and copyright prosecution and support enforcement actions
• Provide legal research, litigation support, and document management for the Legal Department

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Paralegal certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience with intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights
• Experience supporting investigations, compliance, or enforcement functions required
