Interconnection Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interconnection Specialist to support the development of renewable energy projects by managing interconnection processes with utilities and ISOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and vendors to prepare and submit generator interconnection applications
• Manage timelines and milestones for interconnection studies and provide feedback on study results
• Facilitate negotiations of generator interconnection agreements and coordinate financial processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Law
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Experience with electric utilities and/or ISOs/RTOs
• Ability to manage geospatial data and multiple projects with competing priorities
• Advanced degree (MS, MBA, JD) is preferred
