Interim Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interim Accounting Director from June to November 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and implement accounting internal controls and guidelines to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial statements
• Plan and coordinate the year-end audit process with external auditors

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience at a CPG manufacturing company
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with NetSuite
• Knowledge of GAAP and its implications
• BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical field preferred
• CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus
