Interim Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing beauty brand, the full-time Interim Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly and annual close processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, and prepare accurate financial statements while working remotely for a duration of 6-7 months.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and deliver complete, accurate monthly financial statements, including review of underlying support
- Lead the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
- 2-4+ years of accounting experience in a CPG company, with omnichannel experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on NetSuite experience required, including saved searches and general ledger
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Exposure or experience using AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini
