Job Summary

Providing executive leadership and operational oversight, the full-time Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (JD Preferred) will guide the human resources function for a prominent academic healthcare system during an extended leave of absence, with flexible remote, hybrid, or onsite arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for the organization's human resources function during the incumbent CHRO's leave
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on employment law, workforce strategy, employee relations, and compliance
  • Ensure continuity of HR operations across a large, complex healthcare enterprise
Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in employment law, human resources, or a related field
  • Significant experience within an academic medical center or similarly complex healthcare organization
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and labor-related matters
  • Experience advising executive leadership on sensitive workforce and compliance issues
