Job Summary
Leading the enterprise compliance program, the full-time Interim Compliance Officer will oversee compliance policies, training, auditing, and regulatory management while collaborating with executive leadership in a fully remote contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the company's compliance policies and procedures, including training, auditing, and corrective action plans
- Oversee privacy compliance and regulatory change management, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present compliance matters to executive leadership and the Board Compliance Committee
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive healthcare compliance experience, particularly in specialty pharmacy or regulated healthcare environments
- Deep knowledge of the OIG seven-element compliance program framework and HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements
- Experience with multi-state healthcare regulatory compliance, licensing, and accreditation
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional compliance initiatives and preparing reports for executive leadership
- J.D. preferred; CHC and/or CHPC certification is a plus
