Interim PB Coding Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interim Director of PB Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of professional billing coding, auditing, and education
• Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and charge capture processes while improving physician education
• Develop staffing plans, manage operational budgets, and implement department strategies to meet financial targets

Required Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in progressive coding leadership in a large multi-specialty physician practice or health system
• AHIMA or AAPC Certification
• Knowledge of ICD-10 Diagnostic and CPT coding regulations and guidelines
• Extensive knowledge of state, federal, and Medicare regulations related to coding
• Understanding of third-party and insurance company operating procedures and billing requirements
