Job Summary
Working remotely on a temporary basis, the Interim Senior Learning and Evaluation Manager will oversee learning and evaluation support, contribute to outcomes management systems, and design learning artifacts while engaging for an average of 120 hours per month over a six-month consultancy period.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to external reporting and funding development by drafting and strengthening Learning and Evaluation components within proposals
- Assist in building out GFC's Salesforce-based outcomes management infrastructure, ensuring data quality and usability for staff and partners
- Design briefs, frameworks, and toolkits to make evidence and analysis accessible to grassroots partners and provide training on evaluative practices
Required qualifications
- Senior-level experience in learning and evaluation within philanthropy or international social change contexts
- Demonstrated experience designing evaluation approaches rooted in decolonial or community-led frameworks
- Strong mixed-methods capability, including survey design, statistical analysis, and participatory sense-making
- Experience with proposal development and grant reporting from both funder and grantee perspectives
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Swahili)
