Intermediate Account Manager - Insurance

Job Summary

Providing exceptional relationship management, the full-time Intermediate Account Manager - Insurance will oversee the administration of complex voluntary insurance benefit plans, focusing on short-term disability claims, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and internal partners to enhance customer service and retention
• Research inquiries and issues, negotiate resolutions, and ensure service levels are met through effective follow-up with business groups and vendors
• Educate agents and clients on product administration and systems, while identifying additional service opportunities to support client needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two years of experience in insurance or client relationship management
• Experience in a corporate environment focused on customer service or research
• Technical aptitude for quickly learning software applications
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
