Job Summary

Intermediate Backend Developer, this full-time remote position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining backend components of a digital health platform while contributing to the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend application components using Java and related technologies
• Develop and maintain core product code with a focus on quality and performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional backend development experience
• Solid experience with Java and Spring; working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, and Git
• Experience with end-to-end feature development and unit testing practices
• Knowledge or experience in healthcare, HL7, or FHIR is an asset
