Intermediate Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the buildout of scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, the contract-to-hire Intermediate Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cloud architects and security teams while working remotely to establish compliant environments for multi-tenant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of AWS cloud infrastructure across various environments including development, test, staging, and production
• Utilize Terraform for deploying AWS infrastructure and support the configuration of IAM roles and policies
• Collaborate with teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with security requirements and document technical processes

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on AWS experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with AWS networking components such as VPCs, subnets, and security groups
• Proficiency in using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools
• Familiarity with Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux configuration
• Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security controls
