Intermediate Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the remote contract Intermediate Financial Analyst will perform audits of invoices for prepaid services, conduct detailed test work, and ensure accurate financial reporting while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed audits of invoices and tie expenses to supporting documentation
• Conduct independent accounting research and complex analytical projects
• Support the budget process and assist in monthly financial close activities

Required qualifications

• BA in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in both US GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, with auditing experience preferred
• Ability to perform attribute testing and identify potential discrepancies
• Experience in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
