Intermediate Software Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support government development activities, the fully remote Intermediate Software Systems Engineer will provide specialized expertise in systems software, perform in-depth analysis and technical support, and assist in the design, development, and testing of software products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis and technical support for systems software products, including complex problem resolution and operational integration
• Assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products, ensuring performance analysis and capacity planning
• Interface with customers to gather information on system requirements or problems, preparing product documentation as needed

Required qualifications

• Eight (8) years of relevant experience in systems engineering and software development
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) and low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools
• Certification from a nationally recognized technical authority and a BS or BA degree, or four (4) additional years of related experience
• Secret clearance and compliance with DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate or Certified MuleSoft Associate Certification within 3 months after onboarding
