Intermediate Technical Designer

Job Summary

To support the design of innovative restaurant spaces, the full-time Intermediate Technical Designer will develop technical designs, edit architectural drawings, and collaborate with the design team to produce construction documents, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Develops technical designs and edits architectural drawings to meet project quality, timelines, and budgets
• Performs design activities including programming, code research, and site surveys
• Coordinates with contractors and consultants to address constructability issues and obtain necessary permits

Required qualifications

• 4-8 years of project work experience
• Experience in all phases of the project cycle
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
• Completion of related post-secondary education
