Internal Audit Analytics Associate

Job Summary

Joining the IT Internal Audit team, the full-time Internal Audit Analytics Associate will execute data-driven assurance processes, analyze large datasets using SQL, and validate IT and security controls in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute in-depth data analysis and write complex SQL queries to assess IT and security control effectiveness
• Validate system changes and document compliance and performance impacts for stakeholders
• Produce accurate data extracts and enhance metrics dashboards to provide actionable insights to the Internal Audit team

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role within technology, consulting, financial institutions, or fintech
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and work with large datasets in platforms like Snowflake
• Working knowledge of IT operations, security infrastructure, and cybersecurity programs
• Experience testing or validating data ETL workflows, ensuring data completeness and accuracy
