Internal Audit Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to manage internal audit assignments and provide value-added recommendations across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor internal audit staff while managing various audit assignments
• Communicate audit findings and ensure implementation of agreed-upon recommendations
• Assist in oversight of SOX compliance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA or CIA certification required; additional certifications like CISA or CFE are a plus
• Proven experience in internal audit or public accounting
• Demonstrated people management experience
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and public company requirements
