Job Summary

A company is looking for an Internal Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across various operational areas, evaluating internal controls and identifying improvement opportunities
• Develop and implement audit plans, analyze loan files for compliance, and prepare audit reports summarizing findings
• Collaborate with management on corrective action plans, track audit findings resolution, and participate in risk assessments

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing, compliance, or quality control in the mortgage or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of Non-QM loan programs and regulatory frameworks
• Knowledge of audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques
• Familiarity with Encompass or other LOS platforms preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
