Internal Communications Designer

Job Summary

To support a short-term project, the contract Internal Communications Designer will redesign and simplify internal employee-facing webpages and resource hubs, focusing on improving content, messaging, and user experience while working remotely for 40 hours per week over 2-3 weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and restructure existing internal communication pages and employee resource hubs
• Rewrite and simplify webpage copy, layouts, and navigation flows
• Design intuitive experiences that guide employees to sourcing resources and compliance information

Required qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, content strategy, or UX/content design
• Strong copywriting and content organization skills
• Ability to simplify complex information into clear, employee-friendly messaging
• Background in creating branded internal communications or employee resource materials
• Strong visual layout and user journey thinking
