Job Summary

To support a healthcare venture capital fund, the part-time Internal Medicine Physician Advisor will evaluate digital health startups focused on chronic disease management and care coordination, ensuring investment decisions align with real-world clinical complexities and patient care needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical reviews of digital health startups addressing chronic disease management and primary care enablement
• Validate clinical claims and assess scalability, reimbursement, and value-based care alignment
• Advise portfolio companies on workflow integration and collaborate with specialty advisors to ensure comprehensive care continuity

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Internal Medicine Physician with 5+ years of clinical practice experience
• Understanding of chronic disease pathways and value-based payment models
• Experience with digital health tools or remote monitoring platforms preferred
• Ability to translate internal medicine insights into investment decision frameworks
• Interest in healthcare innovation and commercialization pathways for chronic care technologies
