Internal Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund's investment strategy, the part-time Internal Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical insights into adult medicine, evaluate healthcare technologies, and offer guidance to portfolio companies, committing approximately 2-3 hours per month in a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate startups through the lens of internal medicine, focusing on workflows, chronic disease management, and patient outcomes
• Assess investment opportunities in digital health, AI tools, remote monitoring, and value-based care
• Advise founders on clinical implementation, provider adoption, and integration into healthcare systems

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with Internal Medicine training
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of adult primary care workflows and chronic disease management
• Familiarity with reimbursement, value-based care, and regulatory dynamics
• Interest in digital health, healthcare innovation, and venture capital
