Internal Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced internal medicine physicians, the part-time Internal Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical and strategic insight to evaluate and support healthcare startups within a remote advisory role, contributing approximately 2-4 hours per month to improve adult healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups focused on areas such as chronic disease management, telehealth, and preventive care
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups, assessing business models, clinical relevance, and social impact potential
• Advise portfolio companies and healthcare entrepreneurs on internal medicine workflows and commercialization strategies

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing internal medicine
• Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine preferred
• Experience in adult primary care, chronic disease management, or healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of internal medicine workflows and patient care needs
• Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
