Internal Mortgage Risk Specialist

Job Summary

The full-time Internal Mortgage Risk Specialist III will analyze mortgage-related data, identify financial risks, and provide strategic recommendations while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and summarize data for loss analysis to identify financial status and risks
• Analyze past claims to determine recoverability and report on losses
• Consult with management to guide strategic decision-making and recommend actions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Math, English, or Legal preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in a mortgage banking environment
• Knowledge of mortgage banking laws and processes, including FHA and VA claims
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to audit and interpret guidelines
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and mortgage servicing applications
