Internal Penetration Tester

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Internal Penetration Tester to join a high-impact cybersecurity team in a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal penetration tests across Windows and Linux environments, simulating real-world adversarial tactics
• Perform manual testing to identify vulnerabilities and lateral movement paths, and customize penetration testing tools for client-specific needs
• Deliver technical reports and collaborate with Red and Purple Teams to enhance detection capabilities and validate defensive controls

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in internal penetration testing or offensive security
• Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, including registry and Active Directory analysis
• Experience with penetration testing tools such as BloodHound, Mimikatz, and Metasploit
• Solid scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
• Understanding of attacker TTPs and threat modeling frameworks, with relevant certifications being a plus
