Internal Tools Developer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Internal Tools Developer, the successful candidate will develop and maintain custom tools for customer service teams, enhancing workflows and efficiency through innovative solutions and API integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine specialized custom tools, integrating with core platforms via APIs to improve team member workflows
• Leverage AI in feature development projects to enhance team member capabilities
• Assist with the administration and operation of servers housing internal tooling and provide support to end users on custom-developed applications

Required qualifications

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• Experience with Python (Quart, FastAPI, async patterns, pytest) and TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)
• Proficiency in MySQL, REST API structure, and JWT authentication
• Ability to work independently in a small team and proactively address challenges
• Strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering business value efficiently
