Job Summary
Leading the global movement of raw materials and finished goods, the full-time International Freight Manager will oversee international transportation operations, ensuring compliance with trade regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end international transportation operations, including ocean, air, and cross-border activities
- Develop strategic partnerships with freight forwarders and customs brokers to enhance service and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations, overseeing customs declarations and documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Transportation, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in international transportation, logistics, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and transportation modes including ocean, air, and drayage
- Experience managing freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Proficiency with ERP and transportation management systems; preferred experience in CPG/Food & Beverage sectors
