International Growth Strategy Lead

Job Summary

Owning the strategy for infrastructure expansion into new geographies, the full-time New Geography and International Growth Lead will assess market opportunities, engage stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to enable international growth while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build market-entry frameworks for international infrastructure, evaluating power availability, regulatory posture, and execution risk
• Assess priority regions against OpenAI's long-term objectives in compute, energy, sustainability, and policy
• Coordinate geographic diligence with stakeholders across energy, policy, commercial, legal, and engineering domains

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure strategy, site selection, or related fields
• Experience evaluating new markets for large-scale infrastructure or technology development
• Strong understanding of power, land, policy, and permitting constraints in infrastructure expansion
• Proven ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations
• Excellent executive communication and analytical judgment skills
