International Logistics Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time International Logistics Specialist will manage the coordination of household goods movement for clients' assignees, ensuring excellent customer service while working hybrid in Oakbrook Terrace, IL or fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with clients and vendors to set expectations and resolve issues during the relocation process
• Manage logistics and financial aspects of international shipments, including rate quotes, vendor selection, and margin management
• Document and maintain data integrity within internal systems while ensuring timely administration of shipping documentation and billing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of industry/freight forwarding experience or 3 years of related customer service experience
• Basic understanding of world geography and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong preference for secondary language skills
