International Rate Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an International Rate Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all international reservations to ensure the lowest air fare is confirmed for clients
• Utilize creative techniques to reduce air fares and maximize revenue on transactions
• Assist agents with reissue and refund procedures, as well as provide timely responses to internal inquiries

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Travel School certification or A.S. Degree in Travel/Tourism preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate reservations experience
• Proficient in Sabre and Amadeus GDS
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required
