Interoperability Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of scalable interoperability solutions, the full-time Interoperability Architect will work remotely to support federal healthcare modernization initiatives, focusing on healthcare data exchange, APIs, and enterprise integration architectures.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and implement enterprise interoperability solutions across healthcare messaging, APIs, and platform integration services
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure and maintainable architecture designs
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop interoperable APIs and integration workflows while providing architecture governance and technical leadership

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture or healthcare interoperability environments
• Strong experience designing interoperability solutions using HL7v2, FHIR, CCDA, IHE, or X12 standards
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Government clearance as required
