Interoperability Product Owner

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interoperability Product Owner who will ensure compliance with interoperability mandates and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead oversight for compliance-related audits and initiatives regarding interoperability and HIPAA Transaction Code Set compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish data sharing agreements and align interoperability needs with regulatory sources
• Drive alignment across business and IT teams on the build of FHIR endpoints and ensure data readiness to meet compliance timelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in healthcare interoperability, compliance, or regulatory environment is required
• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, interoperability mandates, and CMS guidelines
• Deep knowledge of FHIR APIs and payer-to-payer exchange requirements
