Interposer Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support advanced semiconductor packaging, the full-time Interposer Automation Engineer will develop VLSI flows and methodologies, automate interposer design processes, and collaborate with design engineers to optimize workflows in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop VLSI flows and methodologies for interposer design in collaboration with interposer engineers
• Develop applications focused on maintainability and ease of use for project engineers
• Construct, analyze, and validate interposer designs at various production stages while optimizing workflows

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in flow and methodology development for interposer design
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques in engineering workflows, including ML-assisted design analysis tools
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals relevant to VLSI interposer design
• Familiarity with VLSI package design and interposer/IC physical design is a plus
