Interstate Gas Scheduler

Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and accurate scheduling of natural gas transactions, the full-time Interstate Gas Scheduler will manage nominations, confirmations, and balancing across interstate pipeline systems while ensuring compliance with tariffs and optimizing transportation assets in an office environment with remote capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Nominate and confirm scheduled natural gas quantities on interstate pipeline ebbs promptly
• Collaborate with Spot Gas Trading and Retail Schedulers to execute capacity optimizations and balance retail and wholesale pools
• Monitor pipeline operations and market conditions to ensure compliance with pipeline tariffs and contractual obligations

Required qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in natural gas scheduling or related field
• Proficiency in using internal and external systems for executing nominations across multiple pipeline EBBs
• Strong understanding of natural gas transportation, storage, and wholesale market operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, such as military service, preferred
