InterSystems IRIS Developer

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time InterSystems IRIS Developer will design, develop, and sustain applications using InterSystems IRIS/Cach and ObjectScript in a fully remote environment, focusing on data migration, system integration, and production support.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise applications, including data extraction, transformation, and validation processes for VistA data migration to Oracle Health
• Analyze data structures and develop reliable enhancements, troubleshoot complex issues, and create database classes and queries
• Support production deployments, incident resolution, and maintain technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development using InterSystems Cach and/or IRIS
• 3+ years of hands-on ObjectScript development experience, including knowledge of IRIS classes, globals, and SQL
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and system integrations
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software applications and databases in production environments
• Strong analytical skills and ability to produce clear technical documentation
