Inventory Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inventory Accountant to support financial operations related to inventory and fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting tasks related to materials, inventory, fixed assets, and taxes
• Participate in system implementation and establish new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Conduct month-end close responsibilities and ensure compliance with accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in operational accounting, specifically in fixed assets and inventory
• 5 years of experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Experience writing BigQuery/SQL scripts and navigating datasets
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
