Inventory Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Inventory Accounting Analyst will enhance reporting and process needs for the Inventory Accounting team, focusing on inventory reconciliation, cost accounting, and supporting process improvements to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the reconciliation process of inventory transactions to financial records, ensuring accuracy in item costing and values
• Perform weekly analyses of inventory costing to identify anomalies and provide corrective actions to resolve errors
• Support month-end close procedures by reviewing inventory reconciliation files and assisting in the final inventory upload process for audits

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or operations, preferably in an inventory-based industry
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort with large datasets
• Strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
