Inventory Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Reporting remotely to the Director of Accounting Operations, the Inventory Accounting Manager will take full ownership of inventory accounting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP while collaborating with Finance, FP&A, and Supply Chain to drive insights and process improvements in a high-growth e-commerce environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Account for inventory and review related costs and journal entries
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and perform flux analysis
• Mentor junior staff and support continuous evaluation of process improvements

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of accounting experience, specifically in inventory accounting and team leadership
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited university
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with developing and implementing internal controls
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
