Inventory Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Inventory Accounting team on a contract basis, the Inventory Accounting Specialist will manage contract manufacturing reporting, inventory movement and reconciliation, and prepaid supplier invoicing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Enter and reconcile contract manufacturing activity within the reporting system to ensure accuracy of production runs and cost details
• Track and analyze inventory movements and ensure proper financial recognition in accordance with accounting standards
• Process prepaid supplier invoices and perform regular vendor statement reconciliations to maintain accurate balances

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of inventory accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with contract manufacturing reporting and reconciliation to a reporting/ERP system
• Strong understanding of inventory movements and financial recognition (e.g., COGS, WIP, finished goods)
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently in fast-changing environments
