Inventory and Cost Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inventory & Cost Accountant to join their Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cost accounting transactions and maintain ERP system data integrity
• Ensure accurate accounting of inventory transactions in accordance with GAAP and manage month-end accounting close processes
• Coordinate and evaluate annual physical inventory and implement process improvements in the ERP system

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high growth business
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting systems and the BOM process
• ERP software experience is required, with NetSuite preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups
