Inventory and Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage cost accounting processes, including inventory transactions and cost-related performance measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze cost data and provide insights for business decisions
• Lead a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with policies and improving inventory management practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, with 5+ years in cost accounting preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience managing a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours during month-end close
